 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS AND SCOPE OF WORK

Qualifications:
Applicants are required to have four years of experience or a combination of college and experience. A person shall qualify for certification licensure by meeting one of the following requirements: (1) Four year construction-related degree from an accredited college (equivalent to three years experience) and one year proven STRUCTURALLY-RELATED experience in commercial construction of four or more stories. *see below. (2) One year of experience as a foreman and not less than 3 years of credits for any accredited college-level courses. (3) One year experience as a workman, one year proven experience as a foreman and two years of credits for any accredited college-level courses. (4) Two years experience as a workman, one year experience as a foreman and one year of credits for any accredited college-level courses (5) Four years experience as a workman or foreman of which at least one year must have been as a foreman.

 

*STRUCTURALLY-RELATED experience is defined as experience in four or more of the following Areas:

  1. Foundation/Slabs in excess of twenty thousand (20,000) square feet

  2. Masonry Walls

  3. Steel Erection

  4. Elevated Slabs

  5. Precast Concrete Structures

  6. Column Erection

  7. Formwork for Structural Reinforced Concrete.

Scope of Work:
"General Contractor" means a contractor whose services are unlimited as to the type of work which he or she may do.
